Endowment proposal eyed for Collingsworth County future
A column urges creating a permanent Collingsworth County Endowment to fund community projects within the county. It cites a $1 million goal, compares to a $100,000 gift in Childress, and notes the Amarillo Area Foundation oversight with a seven member local committee. Donation ideas include cash, land, life insurance, or oil and gas royalties. Local endowment committee members are listed for more information.
