A collection of handwritten Christmas requests from Dodson and nearby areas. Kids describe gifts from toys and dolls to trains and play sets, with hopeful wishes addressed to Santa Claus and signed by several children including Tam, Pamela, Shannon, Valda, and Janet, among others.
A patchwork of child letters to Santa recounts requests for toys and gifts. Names of eight-year-old boys and a girl, plus brief pleas for items such as guns, ponchos, canteens, dolls, trucks, candies, a telephone, and a sack, appear amid affectionate familial signoffs.
