JoAnn Outley scores 11, with Stacey Fires, Dana Isaacs and Denise Nation each six. Firecrackers beat Quanah 32 16 and Memphis 40 31. Outley tops with 13 and 14 in games. Eagles Edge Shamrock In Tight Boys Thriller
Last Friday on the Eagles court the boys won 64 63 after a late rally. Shamrock held a three point edge with 36 seconds left before Rene Delbosque scored with five seconds remaining to seal the victory. Eaglettes lost 67 46 and the girls were outplayed by the visitors.

Wellington 8th Grades Earn Runnerup in Childress Tourney
Wellington eighth grade girls beat Childress 21 16 to open the tournament then fell to a different Childress club 31 12 in the finals. Wellington eighth grade boys lost to Childress 36 18 but beat Quanah 23 13. Seventh grade girls won 27 7 over Memphis for third place while seventh grade boys opened with a loss to Childress.

Wheeler Wins Wild Final At Home Tournament
Wheeler hosts a two class season ending tournament and defeats Wellington in both finals. In the boys final Wheeler 60 Wellington 55 amid heavy fouling including a third technical on Wellington coach Rick Pinson. Bubba Smith led Wheeler with 19 points while Carter Nash added 10. In the girls final Wheeler Rock ets beat Wellington 56 26 with Marlo Hartman scoring 25 and De Ann Jolly 14 as Wheeler completed a four game sweep over the Rockets. Wellington finishes 9 3 and 8 7 for the teams after a three day event with Booker and McLean taking third place in their divisions.
