Library project assists local Blessing Fund
The Collingsworth Public Library festival of trees raised 500 for the Children’s Christmas Blessing Fund. Trees were purchased by Ben Thomas Tri-County Co-op Gin Tiffany Williams Dawn Ikner Toni Wright Wellington Junior High School and Cindy Weatherly. The library director Vicki Decker thanked buyers and wished residents a happy holiday.

First Christian Church sets Christmas Eve worship service
The Wellington First Christian Church will hold a Christmas Eve worship and communion service on Thursday December 24 at 7 p.m. in the Bailey Building on the west side of the Square. The program includes hymns and scripture reading followed by a candlelight communion. All Christians in the community are invited. the service will conclude before 8 p.m.
