Local residents and out of town visitors made weekend trips to Shamrock Hollis Wichita Falls Childress and Pampa. People from Wheeler Dodson Amarillo Denver and Vernon visited relatives in Shamrock Hereford Matador and other nearby communities while attending events and handling business.
Sunday school attendance was average and Rev T M Cornelius preached a short morning sermon. Camp sisters Rama and Oleta visited their parents D C Camp. Truie Wilks joined relatives including W B White W E Trewster Billy Brewster at Wellington Panhandle game. Evelyn Camp of Hallis Junior College visited her family. J W Cole spent weekend in Dryden Okla for business and relatives.
The Bethel Church welcomes the North Fork Baptist Association workers conference on Thursday December 16. Local church members and officers are expected to attend. Speakers include Matt Bullard Rev Taft Holloway D M Bentley Rev Bob Bonner Rev H T Greenwood and Dr J Walton Moore a returned Missionary from China.
