After the meal a car breakdown en route to Amarillo prompts a recall of holiday travel woes and a plan to diet after Christmas. The piece notes Santa's first Wellington parade appearance on December 10 near the square museum and invites participation, plus a birthday shoutout to Kathy at the Wellington Leader.
