Area residents and relatives from Sweetwater Plainview Shirmery Pampa and Aberdeen visited Wellington for Thanksgiving. Friends and kin from Electra Dallas Waco Paipa Lefors Hltons and Amarillo joined in the holiday gathering and local social visits.

Moon Royal and wife visited in Sanatorium for Thanksgiving. Carl Tompkins and Marie Berryman spent Sunday in Abilene with Talmadge Gray from New Albany Mississippi. Gibbs Glenn and Virginia in Lubbock for Thanksgiving. Several others attended football games in Spur and Amarillo and visited relatives in Quanah Altus Hobart Groom Lutie Senelice and Dodson.
Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Gillentine visited their son Jimmie Gillentine and Mrs. Gillentine last week. Mrs. Gillentine returned to spend the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Castleberry and relatives. Mrs. Logan Cummings spent Thanksgiving holidays with relatives in Denton. Mrs. Mildred Pierson of Aberdeen has returned home after medical treatment in a Shamrock hospital.
Thanksgiving activities include Mr and Mrs John Forbis visiting daughter Dorothy Margaret Forbis at Texas Tech in Lubbock. Dodson residents J G Nisbett attended the funeral of Mrs Bernice Riley in Quanah. Dick Wiley made a business trip to Lubbock. Khavim and family visited Kesler relatives. Gus Wulfman son of Mrs Boger Wulfman also joined in. Olivia Templeton, CALA student in Denton, spent Thanksgiving with her mother Cleo Templeton and friends.
