Wellington Council OKs Budget for 1992 93 Projects
The Wellington city council approved a proposed 1,089,312 budget at the August 3 meeting with a public hearing August 24. Funds include a 79,000 Texas Parks and Wildlife block grant for park and field enhancements and a one half cent sales tax for economic development and tax relief. Airport runway lights and fencing will be updated. Ellison Park tennis courts under construction with plex paving to open by late September.
