Wellington High School senior Ashley Wilhelm completed an eight week internship at the Texas Tech School of Pharmacy in Amarillo through the Women’s Health Research Institute. She worked in Dr. Thomas Abbruscato’s lab on stroke research and blood-brain barrier implications for noninvasive treatments.
