Three Weeks Remain For Collingsworth County Fair Entries
Three weeks remain for Collingsworth farmers to prepare agricultural and horticultural entries for the County Fair. Co chairs Samy Helmers and Don Lacy announce Sept 6 and 7 dates with community products booths, awards from $30 to $10, and open division for individual products. Entries must be grown by community members in 1968, with booths set by 9 am Friday and remain until 9 pm Saturday.

One-Man Art Show Highlights Mae Hutchings of Palestine
Mae Hutchings former Wellington resident presented a solo exhibit in Palestine featuring twenty two paintings mainly oils. The artist studied under Miss Annie B Rogers and involved family support including husband George and daughter Mary who also contributed a painting. Her brother in law Judge Templeton helped found Sagebrush Arts and Crafts Association to promote local crafts and she has been invited to exhibit there. The Royal Standard Flag flies at Buckingham Palace when royalty resides.
