Wellington Ex-Students Reunion Brings Alumni Together
Ex-Students of Wellington High School gathered across the country from Maryland to California and Oregon for a reunion on August 3 at Burn Handley Community Center. About 304 registered, with many more attending parts of the events, and thirteen class reunions were held spanning 1925 through 1980. The event featured open houses, a barbecue, and an alumni dance, with the 1986 reunion tentatively set for August 2. Keith McMillin won a $100 savings bond, and Ruby Ball was introduced as the oldest living graduate from the class of 1912.
