Fire destroys Beachy home near Quail. fire crews seek funds
Five fires across Quail to Texola area kept Wellington and neighboring departments busy. Chief Danny Gray says a second firefighting truck is needed as rural units broke down. Beachy residence west of Quail burned about 10:30 a.m. July 27. Noah Beachy and sons Joe and Johnny escaped. Electrical wiring is suspected. A Beachy family fund is being raised at Jessie Alston's Store in Quail.

Collingsworth County Tax Valuations Fall By $2 Million
