A head on collision on U S 4 about six miles west of Goodland killed five people and seriously injured a sixth. Victims include Rev Walter E Jarboe and his wife Georgia 47 and daughter in law 18 from Madisonville Kentucky and Englewood Colorado couple Frank P Garcia 23 and Tiffany with their year old child. The crash occurred while the minister family traveled to Denver and the Colorado couple were on vacation bound for New York.

Bombers Hit North Viet Nam Fuel Depots Near Hanoi
U S bombers continued raids on fuel depots around Hanoi for a second day. Navy planes struck a radar site 38 miles north and a fuel dump 25 miles north of Hanoi while Air Force F105s hit Nguyen Khe seven and a half miles north of Hanoi and Viet Tri 28 miles northwest.
