Senator Robert F. Kennedy died after a gun attack. His body to be flown from Los Angeles to New York for wake at St Patrick's Cathedral and a Saturday burial at Arlington National Cemetery near his brother John. The ceremony includes an eternal flame tribute and a post mortem underway in Los Angeles.
Admiral Moorer stated the nuclear sub Scorpion and its 99 crew are presumed lost after a 10 day search west from Norfolk to the Azores failed to locate any trace.
