Artesian Well Progress At Weiser Cemetery

An artesian well at the Weiser cemetery is sinking 26 feet daily, with 800 feet of water already in the shaft. If kept this week it should reach 1000 feet at a cost of 340 dollars, then halted for contractor Ashley's other work. If no flow is found a windmill and pump will be used for irrigation. A prior well half a mile west rose water but did not flow. The local notes list residents and activities across town, including business moves, school plans, and community events.
