At Silver Plate 1500 sacks of ore are being prepared for shipment to Denver for smelter testing. Findings include 12 percent copper and 85 percent gold assays with notable silver, and a 22 inch footwall streak averaging 97 dollars per ton. Development shows a uniform ore body with a water-driven shaft, pump, and planned three shifts. The Boston & Seven Devils Mining Co under J Bertram Hancock expects early summer shipments as rail access expands.
