Outlook Club Meeting Discusses World Affairs and Local Plans
The Outlook Club met February 21 with an enthusiastic crowd. Papers by Mesdames Bradley and ail lespie on Transvaal spurred discussion of English and Boer views. A poem on the Boers moved attendees. A move to move Arbor Day earlier was proposed, park plans discussed, and the reading room to be relocated to Dr. Anderson's front room with Parmalee Library available there. All ladies and visitors invited. An unrelated note reports C F Gollier of Cherokee Iowa recovering from kidney pain after using Electric Bitters. the medicine praised for backache kidney relief and health boost, price 50 cents at R W Smith's Drug Store.
