Last Tuesday a test burn in Tamaces plant showed steam up and machinery running well with only minor adjustments needed. The big ore bins are filled and being loaded for treatment. Two Ore. horse thieves escape jail again in bombay chase
Heard from Arai, Robert Hess and James E Chester, the two horse thieves who escaped from the jail at Vale Oregon, and who had an encounter with Sheriff Lawrence of Vale, at Polson, at the foot of Flathead lake, have been heard of again. They stopped at Geof Ross near Yantic Montana, 16 miles east of Hayre, asked for lunch, then left. Later two fine horses were stolen from Ross's ranch. it is suspected the same men took them. Sheriff Lawrence of Yale Oregon offers a $200 reward. Ross adds another $200 for the horse thefts
