Hurderer Connors to hang for Deputy Sheriff shooting

James Connors, now in the penitentiary, is scheduled to be hanged Friday December 16 for the killing of Deputy Sheriff Sweet at Blackfoot three months ago. He had attempted a robbery of a Japanese family at the section house and shot the foreman, then killed Sweet when he arrived. Connors was wounded in the face during the escape attempt and recovered.
