Baby Burned to Death Near Boise

Four month old child of Mr and Mrs Geo Tillis 12 miles from Boise left asleep in a buggy by a stove. An older child pushed the buggy closer, the clothing caught fire, and the infant suffered fatal burns, dying shortly after.

George Church, a sheep ranch worker east of town on the Weiser river, was injured Friday hauling hay when a wagon overturned. He was brought to the hospital Saturday with a broken leg above the knee.

Fire destroys house on Council street

Saturday around eight o'clock Council citizens woke to a fire at Mathina's house caused by the stove pipe. Despite strenuous effort the building burned completely. Mrs. Henke and Mrs. Hutchinson lived there with two children. little contents survived and even the children's clothing burned. Mrs. Henke lost forty dollars and prized heirlooms.
