Creek Road Practically Assured Through Big Creek District

Mr H Friar superintendent of the Pueblo Mining Company at Big Creek reports progress toward building a wagon road from Mond to Warren with an expected or funded $15,000 for the project. The Knights of Pythias marked their forty fifth anniversary with nationwide celebrations. Myrtle lodge in our city sent fifty six members to a Methodist church service led by Rev. W. W. Deal, who spoke on Brotherly Love. The lodge, founded 1897 with twenty five members, now numbers about 130 and is finishing a new lodge castle valued over ten thousand dollars.
