Myrtle Brown, granddaughter of Wm Mullikin of Olds Ferry, was adjudged insane last Saturday in Probate Judge Ayers court and was taken to the Blackfoot asylum Monday by attendant Joan B Turner. She formerly resided at Litchfield Kansas.

Accident in Orchard Wounds Man’s Right Ear

While plowing a ranch orchard on Monday Ed Fifer was struck by a falling hook used for carrying baskets. The hook caught his right ear and cut through to the outer edge. Dr. Shir Joy treated the wound, requiring two or three stitches to close it.

Child Suffering Knife Accident At Home

Connie, a year and a half old child of Mr and Mrs Matt Hannan, fell onto a butcher knife last Saturday evening. The blade cut the throat tongue and roof of mouth. Dr Sehmitz treated the wound and the child was reported improving.
