Ossified 36 year old woman dies after five year ailment
Elizabeth Burridge Hallock of Lockport died aged 36 after five years of ossification. The case, likened to the ossified man, saw joints stiffen completely, teeth removed to ease nourishment, and weight drop from 105 to about 30 pounds. Her life began in youth after a childhood knee injury. doctors called her condition chalky bone disease. She spent her final years with her father, maintained dignity, and could still read and write in her last days.

Obsequies for Rt Rev J H Hobart Brown Held in Fox Lake
Bishops and clergy from across Wisconsin gathered at the Cathedral of St Paul for the elaborate obsequies of Rt Rev J H Hobart Brown bishop of Fond du Lac. The service featured Bishop Whipple and Bishop McLaren with readings by Rev Wright and others, while numerous lay and clerical pallbearers and attendees from Oshkosh Stevens Point and Racine joined a wide regional showing. In a separate note, Marvin H Bovee a known Democratic speaker and anti capital punishment advocate died at 61 in Weyorswater Wisconsin after years campaigning on prison reforms.
