Trial set for November 3 along with co defendants Jack Dempsey Billy Hennessy Jos Taylor and Gus Herget who pleaded not guilty but case awaits principals first. Mike Caughlin a nearly seventy year old resident of Reno was waylaid after 1 am on his way home. He was beaten about the head and face with wounds requiring medical attention.
