Opium Den Raid Net Shocking Chinatown Scene

A noon raid by police on a Chinatown opium den near the joss house led to arrest of three young men and a girl aged about sixteen. Nevada Mining Society meeting fixes Reno State Fair dates

The Nevada Mining and Mechanical Society of Nevada held a meeting in Virginia City to set the State Fair for September in Reno on the 26th to 29th. The track and grounds were leased to W. S.
