Hon Andrew Ewing formerly of Nashville Tennessee died in Atlanta on Friday last. He served as Colonel in the Confederate service at his death and previously represented the Nashville District in Congress. Known in Tennessee and nationwide as a distinguished lawyer and an esteemed orator and statesman. Supreme Court opinions delivered include reversals and venire de novo in multiple cases from Virginia North Carolina and other districts with judges Pearson Bart Masry presiding.
