Recife and San Francisco Railway General Meeting Notes

The half year meeting of Recife and San Francisco Railway shareholders at the London Tavern heard the report. Chairman Mr. R. Benson spoke of delaying the extended guarantee due to ministerial changes and prorogation of the Brazilian Chamber. They cited prior losses, inadequate estimates, and government involvement as reasons for awaiting approval. Receipts covered working expenses, but dividend payments were hampered by unissued debentures. A deferred warrant convertible to debentures and a capital extension to cover the extended guarantee were discussed.
