Inquest on the late Mr Alsager at Queen Square
An inquest was held at 25 Queen Square Bloomabury on Monday at one o'clock into the death of Thomas Mass Alsager. Testimony from Wentworth cook Elizabeth Verry and surgeon Whitborne described self-inflicted throat wounds and a wrist wound. The coroner noted mental state ambiguities and the jury returned that death resulted from self-inflicted wounds but found insufficient evidence on the condition of mind.
