The Murder Trial at Central Criminal Court

At the Central Criminal Court on Thursday before Baron Rolfe and Justice Williams Thomas Sale a cooper was charged with wilful murder of John Bellchambers by an iron bolt. George M Coy, Thomas Doyle, and John Lloyd faced charges of felonious presence aiding and abetting the crime, with Davis indicted as an accessory before the fact. Witnesses described the barroom encounter, the bolt, and an at times intoxicated state of the deceased.
