Springfield June 15 The Thirty ninth general assembly adjourns with Senate bills funding fairgrounds monuments normal schools hospitals and infrastructure and House bills on civil service school funding and estate matters awaiting governor action. Notable items include 225000 for a machinery hall at the state fairgrounds 40000 for Carbondale normal school facilities and 100000 for the Illinois Western hospital for the insane. Street paving and canal drainage taxes also appear, alongside rules for pensions and cemetery affairs and Lincoln monument oversight.
