Electric Road Franchise Granted Amid City Council Session
City council minutes from Troy Indiana June 1 1903 show approval of a petition for an electric road franchise. The light committee reports the plant in good condition with capacity 160 and 147 to 150 amperes currently in use and recommends street lighting completion and painting of the roof. Several bills are read and referred to the finance committee. Disputes over saloon petitions arise with remonstrances and referals to committees.
