Otto Lipp a prominent Bloomington resident aged 55 died by suicide in his bed. Born in Württemberg Germany he had resided in Bloomington since 1867.

Isaac Remington a 58 year old carpenter was found dead in his Decatur boarding house room. The coroner's jury ruled the death as due to natural causes despite a large mark on his head.
Mrs. David Goldberger, a Russian woman, caused the arrest of David Goldberger in Peoria. She alleges he married her in Russia, deserted her, and later married another woman fifteen years ago.
Elijah Matthews aged 70 was fined $100 and costs at Quivey for beating his three year old stepson. He was then arrested for burning the boy's face with a poker.
Information from Peoria indicates the president will appoint W. T. Abbott, formerly of Peoria and now of Ponce, as attorney general of Porto Rico. Abbott is named as a key official in the administered territory.
Five men died in a launch offshore San Luis d Apra as the Yosemite wrecked on a Guam reef during the November typhoon. The collier Justin towed in survivors and 68000 Mexican dollars, with 138 crew members rescued before the ship sank. Agana suffered heavy losses including casualties and destroyed crops.
Washington dispatch reports first official loss figures from the Yosemite disaster. Secretary Long expresses deep regret at the ship and crew losses but notes the death toll is comparatively small given the ship’s large complement. Berlin November 30. The Innocents club promoters named Von Kayser Von Schachtenmeyer and Wolff were sentenced yesterday to three months twelve months and four months imprisonment plus fines of 3000 marks. Von Kroecher has fled the country.
