A. M. Piece proclaims himself as Veterinary Surgeon to the public and old friends. Louis Karnes acts as authorized agent at St. Jacobs to receive and receipt subscriptions to the Bulletin. Henry A. Benoxe is another authorized Marine agent to receive subscriptions and orders for job work.
Capt A Neustadt editor of the Collinsville Argus visited town. A newborn girl arrived December 24. A Presbyterian sociable will present gifts to Sunday school scholars. On Thursday evening in December 1874 at the Baptist Church Rev W J Chapin officiated the marriage of Winfield J Jarvis to Miss Annis M Martin both of Troy.
