Roadmaster Fred Miller dies in Dawson Creek accident
Fred Miller, longtime resident of Chetwynd and PGE roadmaster, died at 1:05 p.m. Thursday, June 21, in Dawson Creek hospital from injuries after his speeder left the rails at Mile 41 near Progress. Survived by widow and two daughters. Funeral held June 25 at United Church Quesnel with burial in Quesnel cemetery. Officials investigate probable cause amid strong winds.
