Chetwynd Incorporation Vote and Premier Visit Planned
Editorial notes a July 30 incorporation vote for Chetwynd as a village municipality with polling at the Community Hall from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters must be property owners listed in the Land Registry District as of June 30 1962. It also reports a planned Premier Bennett cabinet visit to Fort St. John August 15–17 and a Chamber of Commerce bid to meet the premier in Chetwynd along the route.
