Water system emergency plan eyed for Chetwynd
The board contacted G C McLeod & Company Ltd of Edmonton to supply and install a diesel pumping unit for an emergency system. A 4 inch line from the river to the intake will be laid and a shelter built. Testing may take ten days to two weeks. Residents must make individual arrangements until operation begins. A public meeting to discuss the plan is likely next Friday with details announced in the Advertiser.
