Voters in the Village of Chetwynd vote Tuesday March 5 from 8 am to 8 pm at the Village Office. By-law 7 authorizes debt to build a sewage system. By-law 8 creates a Municipal Water Utility by acquiring the Waterworks District assets and liabilities. Leo Klees is Returning Officer. the Voters List in the Village Office will be used at the poll.
The Chetwynd Curling Club plans a Bondspiel in March weather permitting. Ice is in good shape with several games played, some wiring left. A meeting tonight will finalize decisions for a two day event aimed at March 8 to 10 to avoid local conflicts.
