Chetwynd Rink Wins Peace River Briar Playoff
Chester Lindstrom rink of Chetwynd captured the Peace River Zone Briar playoff in Alberta to advance to the Calgary Alberta playoff and the Dominion finals in Prince Edward Island. Lindstrom defeated the Fairview rink 6 4 in the final and led 8 7 in 13 ends against Faust in the A event before a 5 6 B event loss. The team includes Skip Chester Lindstrom Jim Horswell Roger Demmans and Ken Wood with support from Bud and Irene Campbell Ron Horswell, Mrs Lindstrom and Mrs Wood. First game Friday morning against Zone winners from Northern and Southern Alberta and Northwest Territories.
