W B Rood announces candidacy for re election to the position of school treasurer subject to voters decision at the March 9 election.
The undersigned announce candidacy for school directors to be decided by voters at the March 9 election. John L. Peterson and S. 8S. Parkhurst are the candidates.

In Harlan on February 25 George Arentz, 65, a Monroe township farmer, hanged himself in a barn after attending morning chores with his son. He was found ten minutes later by the boy, with a broken neck. No motive is known.
In a Randolph area farm home, a blaze broke out during a Wisconsin blizzard. A daughter-in-law and a few days old infant were carried to a neighbor house half a mile away. Both mother and child suffered shock and exposure but are expected to recover.
