Hans Dixon born Helsingland Sweden March 30 1833 married Martha Anderson in 1862. They came to America 1866 and settled in Bishop's Hill Illinois then Marion Township Hamilton County Iowa in 1867. He died February 1 1910 aged 76 with six children surviving. Funeral held at Baptist church conducted by Rev C G Bengston. burial in South Marion cemetery.
