The Crystal Ice Company in this city will continue under the same name with G. A. Vergiels as owner and manager. All outstanding coupon books will be honored.
A long list of holiday greetings and visits from residents of Wauwatosa and nearby towns. Many lines note relatives and friends spending Christmas or vacation time with family, plus local events such as high school games, a dancing party, a carol service, and a mention of Mme. Sarah Bernhardt’s stay.
Mrs. Sarah Jeffery Pilgrim died at her home on Street Thursday evening at 87. A Kent England native born May 21 1825 she lived sixty years in the county and settled in Milwaukee now part of the city. She left six children and twenty six grandchildren with many relatives. Interment was at Wauwatosa Cemetery after services led by Rev F C Weed.
The Historical Committee of the Woman's Club hosted a tea plus program in the club rooms on Thursday. About eighty members attended to hear readings and music including Mary viet eds of Gilbert Revitation Evelyn Underwood Medley piano Roxane Sabine Wait for the Wavon Choir Dialogue Evelyn Lefeber Luella Shaw remarks Mrs Estabrook and Good Night Ladies. The tea, served by a Mandarin to Mrs Goodrich, was brought from across the ocean to her sister Mrs Warner and shared with the club.

Rental ad lists a seven room cottage at 126 State Street Wauwatosa asking inquiries to Jacob Fehl at 48th and State Street. The filing notes include a 43w4 code.
On and after January 1 1913 the Milwaukee Journal by mail will cost 2.50 per year. A first class daily newspaper all year for less than a cent a day.

City Treasurer W J Maag announces the 1912 tax roll is open for collection. Taxes are payable at the Lefeber Building on North Main Street until January 31, 1913, with a 2 percent penalty for late payments. Office hours are 9 to 12 and 1:30 to 4:30.
