Opening basketball game at Armory draws promised excitement
The Light Guard first team opens the season next Saturday at the Armory against the South Side Echos of Milwaukee with the Laurels on the second court. Games begin at eight o'clock with Mr and Mrs Walker of Milwaukee providing music for the dancing after. Admission is 15 cents for adults and 10 cents for children, aiming for strong attendance.
