Coplon and Gubitchev Convicted of Espionage
A federal jury in New York found Judith Coplon and Valentin Gubitchev guilty on three counts of an espionage conspiracy in the four count indictment. Suspect Arrested After Two Waukesha County Holdups
A 24-year-old Buena Vista man, named Robert Gollner, was arrested within 15 minutes of an Okauchee liquor store holdup and identified as the likely bandit in a Nashotah tavern robbery earlier that evening. Police say he did not recall the events. Holdups occurred at Poetzel’s tavern in Nashotah around 6:15 to 6:38 p.m. and at an A and B liquor store in Okauchee at 8:02 p.m., with Gollner arrested at 8:17 p.m. in Hartland. Police listed about $20 taken from Nashotah and about $24 from Okauchee.
