Portage Entry Michigan reports 90 fishermen trapped on drifting ice floes in Keweenaw Bay were rescued after two floes split. Rescue teams from the Coast Guard and local sheriff and crew aided by strong winds to bring all to shore. In Menominee Michigan, another group of anglers escaped as ice opened water but lost gear and equipment.

Missing Boys Found in Arkansas. One Dead From Wound
Two boys reported missing Saturday were found in a wooded field 100 yards from their home in Oak Grove Arkansas. Dewey Tubbs seven was shot dead and Leon Tubbs twelve was critically wounded with a bullet above the right eye. The family dog was found shot nearby. Sheriff Ami Howerton said Gus Scott located the boys and Leon was rushed to Berryville hospital.

Looted Lodge Burglary Leads To Prison Sentence
Frederick J. Sullivan of Mukwonago, 24, was sentenced to one to three years in state prison for burglary at the Eagles clubhouse on Clinton Street after pleading guilty to two counts of larceny. He previously served time and faced charges for earlier burglaries while in jail. Sullivan loitered at the clubhouse on February 20 and returned to steal cash from a bar area and cash register. He kept no immediate plans for release and was to be sent to the Green Bay reform school previously.

House approves bill to legalize U S spies and agents

Roads Crowded Six People Hurt
Six persons were injured in auto accidents over the spring like weekend as county highways filled with cars. A three car crash on Highway 15 near Hy-Y in New Berlin left a man and wife in good condition at Waukesha Memorial hospital. Earl Kennedy 43 and his wife sustained chest and head injuries after Kennedy rear ended a truck that ran out of gas. The truck driven by Bernard Sculley caused a 30 gallon oil drum to strike another car driven by Clifford Dowodzenka. Mrs Cora Grey 52 suffered a cut finger in a separate rear end collision west of Goerke's Corners. James Klingman 21 followed too closely behind George Rendall 40, leading to a rear end on Hy 16. Ken Talbot 43 and Jennie Zager also sustained injuries in Hy 16 and Hy 30 accidents respectively. Hospital reports say Talbot will have X-rays today. The section also notes the court case of Carl A Marzani, whose conviction for concealing Communist ties while a state department employee was affirmed by the Supreme Court in a 4 to 4 vote.

New City Dump Opens Tomorrow in Arcadian Area

Escapee Returned to Wisconsin School After Crash
