Two new candidates filed nomina tion papers today. Cecil Bridges of 400 S Main St seeks alderman in the second ward challenging incumbent Lawrence Werner. Bridges, a Hein Werner employee, also runs a neighborhood grocery and has long resided in the ward. Herman Poetsch of 17 Linden St declares for the county board representing the eighth ward, a seat long held by the late Mike Zick. Poetsch has near 30 years in Waukesha and works as a traveling representative for Dr Roberts Veterinary Co. One seat, tenth ward supervisor, remains without a candidate as Lee Jon Stuart of 117 S Charles St shifts to run for alderman. Nomination papers are also out for three board of education incumbents.
