Bus Hits Interurban on Icy Street. No Injuries Reported
A Waukesha Transit Lines bus, with four passengers, struck a Kenosha Motor Coach Lines interurban car near Broadway this morning. No injuries were reported, but the bus sustained about 400 dollars in damage. The bus was driven by Edwin Berry, 32, of 228 West Maine Street. The interurban motorman was Eugene Monard of Milwaukee. The train was cleared and proceeded after a brief delay.

Nine Die in Air Crash Near Algiers
An AP report states nine people including two children were killed when a transport plane crashed and burned near Algiers. The aircraft, en route to Biskra and Philippeville, developed engine trouble before crashing into a hillside. seven passengers and two crew members perished in the fire.
