Flower Lady's Funeral Wish Unfilled in Waukesha
Miss Christine Buchner 89 of Waukesha died Sunday night. Her will asked a band or orchestra play her favorite hymn at the funeral, but probate filings came too late to fulfill that request. A later hymn was sung during the service at the Erling Larsen funeral home. The will leaves 20 to 13 churches and bequests totaling about 10 000 dollars, with specific gifts to sisters, nieces and nephews, and a 250 dollar bequest to the Christian Home Association. Elmer J. June mann named executor. Mrs Buchner lived at 1190 Linden street and was known for selling flowers with a basket in hand and a cane, a former nurse and dressmaker. She was born in New Berlin and spent years in Waukesha.

A roof fire at a Leyér enze home near Pewaukee caused several hundred dollars in damage yesterday afternoon. Dan Rozek of 319 Washington St, Waukesha, reported the blaze in a nearby new residence.
