Fowler Lake Warming House Opens for Winter Skate

Elderly Woman Dies Of Accident Injuries
A 71 year old Madison woman, Mrs Mattie Gamm, died from injuries after a Christmas day auto crash near Hy. 16. The county's 35th traffic fatality of the year. Five others injured. Amhurst Wiest, 27, of Waukesha, driving the other car, survived with possible brain concussion. The crash occurred when Wiest struck the parked Zyehowicz vehicle and vaulted into oncoming traffic. Other injured include Mrs Severn Thompson, 44, Madison, and Mrs Walda Winter, J Lebanon, Wis. Also noted were separate holiday injuries in Hartland and Menomonee Falls.
