County Youth Killed in Crash on Icy Highway
Frank C. Brehmer, 20, of 12111 W Good Hopard, died from a broken neck after his car skidded on icy Highway WV near Menomonee Falls. Coroner Johnson noted loss of control and a ditch rollover. Brehmer, on his way home from Milwaukee, was found by a passerby and pronounced dead at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his widow Bernice, parents Gustav and Emma, a sister Hulda Leister, and seven brothers. Funeral services are set for Monday at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, with burial at West Granville Cemetery.
