Russia asks UN to condemn Dutch invasion in Indonesia

Russia urged the United Nations Security Council to condemn the Dutch invasion of Indonesia as unprovoked aggression. Jacob Malik accused the Dutch of imperialism and threatened world peace, while India and Australia backed the US resolution calling for Dutch retreat to pre Sunday lines and an immediate ceasefire.

Two County Women Hurt in Accidents

Two county women were injured in separate traffic incidents with no serious injuries. Frances Monacelli, 30, of Lannon, bruised her forehead when her car collided at the Lisbon Lannon Stone Co entrance with Oswald Monacelli, 36, as he exited the grounds. Albert Gross, 31, of Menomonee Falls, was driving about 40 mph and could not avoid hitting Monacelli’s car when another vehicle approached from behind. Alice Denzen, 18, of Okauchee, sprained an arm after slipping on a slippery road and hitting a car driven by Harold Frodermann, 34, of Okauchee, in Summit Township.

Goldammer Wins Decoration Prize In Waukesha Contest

Wife Stays in California After Service Buddy Affair

U P report shows cost of living fell eight tenths of one percent led by lower food prices. Clothing and house furnishing costs also dropped while rents and fuel rose only slightly.
